Project Overview
Building on the success of the 2019 Donnelly Hall renovation, University Housing Solutions was once again selected by St. Thomas University to lead its Phase II campus expansion. This ambitious project included the development of an 84,000-square-foot residence hall and a 20,000-square-foot student union—designed to elevate both student living and campus life.
The new student union serves as a vibrant hub of activity, featuring a full-service dining hall, a grab-and-go café for meals on the move, an indoor/outdoor Rathskeller bar perfect for social gatherings, and the official STU spirit store.
The residence hall includes 154 hybrid-style units tailored for modern student needs. Each unit connects two double-occupancy bedrooms with a shared kitchenette and private bathroom—offering a balance of privacy and community. Every floor also includes multiple lounge areas, quiet study rooms, and in-building laundry facilities, creating a comfortable and connected living environment for students.
