Murphy Hall Renovation

Murphy Family Hall, named after University Housing Solutions’ founder, Frank Murphy, marked the inaugural project at St. Thomas University. This comprehensive renovation reimagined the original one-bedroom dorm-style units into innovative “Hybrid-Style” living spaces—a seamless blend of dormitory convenience and apartment comfort. Each unit features two double-occupancy bedrooms sharing a private bathroom and a cozy living area, creating a more attractive and student-friendly housing option.

The building’s exterior received a thoughtful facelift to complement the recently renovated Cascia Hall, featuring a modern stucco and brick facade that enhances campus cohesion. Inside, the lobby was transformed with expansive glass walls, flooding the space with natural light and offering beautiful views of the surrounding campus.

This renovation not only modernizes student housing but also strengthens the sense of community and campus pride at St. Thomas University.
