Project Overview
The new residence hall, named Les Bois (which translates to ‘the Woods’ in French), represented a significant milestone as the first new student housing facility on the campus of Saint-Mary-of-the-Woods in nearly a century. This 92-bed residence hall features suite-style units complete with living rooms and kitchenettes. Positioned adjacent to the historic Le Fer Hall, this new building offered an excellent opportunity to establish a housing hub on campus.
In addition to the residential units, the building also houses a brand- new 11,000-square-foot dining hall capable of accommodating 150 individuals, a convenient grab-and-go cafe for quick meals, and a campus bookstore serving the SMWC community.
