St. Gregory The Great & St. Gertrude The Great Halls

After the successful completion of the Phase I residence hall in 2020, Belmont Abbey College broke records by welcoming their largest incoming freshman class for two consecutive years. This surge in enrollment necessitated the expansion of on-campus housing facilities. As a response to this growing demand, UHS was enlisted to undertake the Phase II project, comprising two parallel residence halls —one for men and the other for women—each accommodating 160 beds.

These residence halls were thoughtfully designed with a focus on accommodating freshman and sophomore students. They feature traditional dorm-style living units, prioritizing spacious common area lounges and study spaces on every floor to encourage student interaction and facilitate social engagement.
